Naming this building the Icon is a true statement due to the look, the shape, and amenities.
After seeing what other Icons have emerged to become, much can be said about Icon Las Olas. This building will add a new look to Las Olas Fort Lauderdale, especially when its size makes it the tallest building in Fort Lauderdale. Comprising of two hundred and seventy two new residences and a total of 455 feet this will be Fort Lauderdale Las Olas newest landmark. A pool will be built on the eight's floor of the bottom tip of the building, and to relax a hot tub on the roof. There two high end restaurant will be added to Las Olas street, one will be facing the river and the other will be on the plaza level. Also, on the eight floor, a fitness center, club/party room, bamboo garden and a beautiful water fountain will be displayed for its future residents. .
Garage space will be built on the first six floor, this will raise the residences to maximize the views giving more height to the condos views.
Al thought the project was supposed to be built years ago, a legal problem was preventing Icon to emerge. The site that was once a post office, bank, trading post, Town Hall and had a long history kept the developer unable to built, but finally matter where settled and a new Icon is about to take place.
