Sole Condo/Hotel on the Ocean is slated to be Sunny Isles Beach's next new luxury condo hotel. The 23-story building will have 147 one-and-two-bedroom apartments at prices that will range from $366,000 to $850,000. Ground breaking is scheduled for late March, with completion in the first quarter of 2006. • The $74 million boutique resort-residence project at 173rd Street Collins Avenue is being built by New Jersey-based Wave Stone Properties, an urban property management firm, and New York-based Helix Group, a construction management and general contracting firm.• Kobi Karp is the architect for the one-acre site. Karp describes the design as "high-end, hip-modern with a contemporary nautical flair, sort of a sea liner-meets-art deco design."• The Sole Condos will be located mid-way between Bal Harbour Shops and Aventura Mall. It is conveniently located between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale International Airports. It will have a two-story lobby, 24-hour security and valet parking, secured covered parking and three high-speed elevators plus a service elevator.• In addition, the oceanfront property will contain an infinity edge pool, a beachfront restaurant and bar, fitness center, spa, and concierge service.
